How Do You Make A Forecast, Anyway?

Learn how to create a weather forecast. The modern weather office uses high speed computers and telecommunications systems, sophisticated Doppler radars, and advanced weather satellites to observe and forecast weather conditions. The demonstration will include a behind the scenes look at the tools and information available to the meteorologist. The group will have the opportunity to make a practice forecast, as well as ask questions about career possibilities.
